Aleph Bet School of Jewish Excellence is proud to be outreach program of Congregation Ner Tamid in San Francisco. Our teachers are certified and are well-respected members of our community. The school nurtures creativity in the arts and helps to develop concepts through a variety of pedagogical techniques.
Congregation Ner Tamid invites you to join us for free lunch on every Saturday. We welcome you to our Shabbat School and encourage you to connect with us. Please join us for lunch and learn something new.
Every Saturday, from 11: 45AM -2 :00 PM - Kiddush and a Story Time Art Shabbat . Parents and children will be drawn into a warm and caring Jewish community .
We aim to connect the children and their families. We identify unique talents and potential by recognizing each student’s natural abilities, interests, cultural background, and learning styles in an atmosphere that encourages students to strive for excellence.
We provide education and social interaction for families with children who want to learn more about Judaism, regardless of their religious affiliation. Our events and classes are always open to new students. Our Holiday
celebrations and Art and Drama Performances give our students an opportunity to express themselves and communicate with their peers, understanding Jewish Identity relating to Russian culture. Most importantly, the curriculum is designed to help children develop confidence in themselves and a love for a lifetime of Jewish learning that we can offer :
Aleph and Bet Classes- for children of age 5-7 years old Every Saturday.
Gimmel Classes- for children age 6-8 years old
on Tuesday from 5:30 PM-7 :30 PM.
Dalet Classes- for childrenage 9-12 years old
on Thursday from 5:30 PM-7:45 PM.
Super Kids Program - for children of age 3,5 -6 years .
